TTFN

I am taking a short break, as I am in serious need of sunshine, churros and decent coffee. Please don't wrestle in the mud whilst I am away. Does anyone want any duty free bringing back?

I thought you were coming with us, Caroline?? You are so fickle.

But there's a perfectly good Alhambra in Bradford, the "jewel in the crown of the city" according to its website. Though by most indicators that's a very very very modest crown.

I'd quite like the idea of you buying one of those oversized straw donkey's and then forcing The Husband to carry it through customs. Enjoy yourself x

Ms Melancholy said...

BoBo, for you, I shall (the straw donkey thingy.) Speak soon x

Caroline said...

I think that your husband may complain if you bring me along ;-) And I am not fickle!!!!!!!!!
*nearly sulking*
Oh please bring back a straw donkey. I always wanted one. Please.

Dear Caroline, embrace your fickleness, don't fight it.... ;)

BoBo, I followed the link, by the way. It's a tough call, but I think I'll go to the one in Granada. (And everyone knows that the jewel in Bradford's crown is The Kashmir curry house followed by The Sweet Centre for some barfi.)

Have fun Ms M. Toblerone for me too please. x

Have a great trip, I am just back from near Carcassonne and the weather was much better there so you should have some lovely sun.
No mud though!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOO.

How can you leave us? That's so callous. And don't they have Wi-Fi where you are staying? What, you may have better things to do with your time?

Good point. Have a great holiday, Ms M. I'll just have to deal with this sudden hole in my life. Sniff.

MS M! MS M! MS M!!!!!

Have I got your attention yet?????

Go see what bobo has done.
I am most distressed. He is bringing up hidden things and you're going away and I'm going to burst with the realisation that my words can lead to conclusions and and and ....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

xx

;-)

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Gee, you should have asked - I could have sent you some sunshine, blue skies and temperatures around 30 degrees!
By the way - I tagged you, but I guess if you're away you won't be playing. *sniff*
Have a wonderful break!

A bottle of something interesting. To drink. Alcohol. Please.

(Which is what I normally say to the barman)

Oh, and some interesting tales of good coffee etc.

Enjoy!

Some virtual cigarettes please. And have a lovely time.

Political Umpire said...

Some nice Rioja and a bottle of duty free bubbly please.

On second thoughts buy both but drink them yourself. You deserve it (more like I don't ...)

Ms Melancholy said...

Ok - so that's a huge toblerone, an over-sized straw donkey for Husband, an over-sized straw donkey for Caroline too, another toblerone for Miss Tickle, sunglasses for nmj, a meme for Atyllah, a bottle of something interesting to drink (calpol?)for Trousers, some coffee tales, some virtual cigarettes for Ms Signs, some rioja and bubbly for me from P-Umpy and something to fill the hole in Ducky's psyche. That's a deal. See you all in a week, when I will be feeling refreshed, tanned and well-read. I hope.

BTW Caroline, lovely BoBo is a trainee. He has to practice on someone. One day you may be sharing stories on Desert Island Discs of the time you were analysed by the soon to be famous therapist Uncle BoBo. Is he on the mark???!

ooh have a lovely time. be bad.

Ms Melancholy said...

Hey,MM - I hadn't thought of that, but I will indeed be bad. BTW - I have just read your latest post - fantastic! I am still laughing. Go and read it everybody.

Thanks so much for stopping by before leaving on your break!

Enjoy the sunshine...I don't see much of that here either. And on the days I do it's reflecting off the snow and that pretty much defeats the purpose of having sun anyway...

are you back yet?

Can't believe she's really left us. Well, when the cat is away...

Caroline said...

I know. I know.
I do still think of her often though.

Often ...

Yeah.

Come, let's go jump on the sofa.

Caroline said...

I'm already bouncing.
*bounce bounce bounce*

Oooooh she must be back soon. We should make a banner. I like banners.

'Welcome Home Ms M. We've missed you. Lots.'

Morning Ducky, morning Caroline.

Ms Melancholy - why are you still not back? Your waiting room is full, Shrinklet, and a lot of very disturbed people need attending to. I'm not really sure how you can live with yourself, truth be told.

This holiday of yours was never a good idea and I can only sincerely hope that you'll think twice before pulling such a stunt in the future.

If it's not too late, however, I should really rather welcome a nice wrist watch from Duty Free. If it is too late, though, and you are already back on these shores, then simply lose the words Duty Free from my last sentence and replace them with A Quality Jewellers. Yes. Just get me something, okay?

Insufficiently medicated,

TPE

I fear your absence has sent Ducky completely off the rails. Check his blog entries as of today (15th March). The sooner you're back, the sooner we can alleviate his distress.

I'm fine.

But pinkie - you are bouncing alone!

My god. Is she not back yet?????
It's been like forever!

Ouch.

I just banged my head against the ceiling.

Ms Melancholy said...

I'm back, and there is cat sick on the rug and a yellow duck bouncing on my sofa. Don't know which of these messes I need to clear up first. Will hand out my presents later folks, when I am acclimatized. Why is this goddamn country so COLD???

Aaron Murin-Heath said...

It's all yellow fault - he started it.

Don't blame Caroline. She's very impressionable. It's all the Duck. That horrible, naughty duck.

Caroline - please don't fall in with bad ducks. That Yellow, he's nothing but trouble.

Glad you all came and had a play whilst I was away. I like the idea of my cats having a bit of company. Feeling a bit discombobulated today...just discovered I have been included in a blogging compilation book thingy and .....well, just feel a bit discombobulated by it for some reason......back soon x
